Am Tag als wir heraus gefunden hatten, dass unser Mocca nun irgendwann sterben muss, sagten wir den Jungs bevor ich zum Tierarzt fuhr, sie sollten sich gut verabschieden. Er kam aber wieder mit nach Hause und ist noch bei uns, wenn auch krank.

On the day when we discovered that something was wrong with Mocca, before I went to the VET we told they boys to say nicely "Good bye" to him. He came back home with me and is still here, but ill and will leave us at some point.

Noah aufwecken nach dem Mittagsschalf nicht immer klappt es gut, aber Flyn macht es gut mit dem Buch lesen.
Waking up Noah, not always a pleasure after his lunch time nap... Flyn does it best by reading him little story.

Besuch von Onkel Thomas/ Uncle Thomas visits

Zuerst wird chic gemacht. Haare ab, in unserem Falle....

So nun sind wir Sommer frisch und chic

Der Onkel brachte leider kein schönes Wetter mit .... Regenjacken raus und so ging das die ganze Woche.. war eher wie im April oder October, aber wie Juni fühlte sich das nicht an.

Uncle did not bring nice weather, rain coats out for most of the week, was more like april or autumn, but not like June... actually yes Like a real english June ( I have known it to be like this for 5 years now)

Es wurde hauptsächlich gelego-ed in dieser Woche, denn selbst dem Onkel Thomas machte das riesen Spass.
Mostly we played with Lego, even uncle Thomas likes it very much.
 
In einer Farm dürfen wir dann Schäfchen füttern, obwohl das den Kinder doch eher unheimlich war, als die langen Zungen da so auf deren kleinen Händen herum leckten, also mussten Thomas und ich das Futter verfüttern.
In a farm we fed the sheep, but the kids did not like getting licked with long tongs on their small hands, so Thomas and I did the feeding.


Traktoradaptionen zu fahren war natürlich das Highlight
Driving tractor adaptations was of course te Highlight.

Nach aufregenden Tagen gabs am Abend noch viele Geschichten mit dem lieben Onkel.
After exciting days, there were exciting stories with the uncle.


... und dann hatte dieser natürlich auch erst mal Hunger und ich hoffe wir haben ihn gut durchgefüttert.
... and then he must have been hungry and I hope we fed him well.


Das Highlight war eine Tagestour nach Oxford. Vom Park 'n' Ride ging's weiter mit dem Bus bis in die Stadt hinein.

The Highlight was away trip to Oxford. From the Park 'n' Ride we went by bus into the town.




Noah wurde etwas müde und da hat der Onkel den schweren "Rucksack" getragen...
Noah was tired and the uncle carried the heavy "backpack"....

Am letzten Abend schafften wir es endlich mal zusammen "Siedler" zu spielen, es war sehr nett.( Thomas hatte eher zu kauen, denn er musste die Anleitung ins engl. übersetzen.
Last evening with Thomas, we finally managed to play a board game and it was very enjoyable.
