Sommerliche Freuden ...
Summer happiness...

Manchmal reicht es einfach, sich wie im Urlaub zu fühlen, wenn man gute Freunde zu Besuch hat. So ging es mir jedenfalls. Tina und Wolfgang bereichereten meinen Alltag mit Ihrem Dasein und die Kinder genossen es auch mal etwas Abwechslung im Hause zu haben. (Obwohl es für die beiden, mit unseren Kindern wohl eher Stress war, als Urlaub)
A vist from Tina and Wolfi, felt almost like being on holiday for us. (For them however more stress than a holiday with our two children)

Noah's erster Versuch in einem Kinderkarousell und beide genossen es sichtlich. Flyn auf dem Motorrad, wie sein Papa.
Noah's first time on a merry-go-round and both boys enjoyed it thoroughly. Flyn on the motorbike, juts like Papa.



Fast täglich liefen wir durch unsere kleinen Stadt und durch die anliegenden Felder und Wäldchen.
Almost daily we walked through our little town and it's surrounding greenbelts.




Manchmal blieb Wolfi auch zurück und wenn Flyn Glück hatte durfte er mit zu Hause bleiben. Wolfi hat sich dann sogar was tolles einfallen lassen und ein Papphaus gebaut.
Sometimes Wolfi stayed at home and if Flyn was lucky he was allowed to stay with him. Wolfi had good ideas and built him a house from a carton.

Leider blieb dies nicht lange erhalten!
Unfortunatly it didn't last long!

Unser Noah hat gelernt sich am Tisch hoch zu ziehen.
Noah has learned to pull himself up on the table.


Am Wochenende konnte dann auch Sean mit an unserem Spass teilnehmen ...
The weekend we spent all together and so Sean could also join in the fun ...

... und "Grosse" werden mal wieder zu Kindern!
... and adults behave child like!



Noah erfreut sich nun auch am Spielplatz und ist happy mit seinem Bruder mit rackern zu können.
Noah is also enjoying the playground now in full swing and is happy to tag along with his brother.



Noah trinkt ausgezeichnet aus Tassen. Allein kommt er erstaunlich gut mit der Schnabeltasse klar und auch ohne Deckel, geht es mit meiner Hilfe wunderbar.... Flyn dagegen brauchte ewig, um das zu meistern.
Noah is drinking very nicely out of cups. He manages beakers very well by himself and without a lid is is doing it perfectly with my guidance. Flyn was nowhere near as good at this stage.

Urlaubszeit/ Holiday time

Mr and Mrs Landberg presentieren ihren Urlaub, so schnell kann man sich heut zu Tage (zum Glück nur rein technisch) verändern!

Mr and Mrs Landberg present their holiday and this is how fast one can change now-a-days (thank goodness at least only technically)!


Der Gips ist ab und wir hatten Glück, dass alles recht gut abgelaufen ist und Sean's Bein nun auch ohne gips recht gut heilt. Somit musste die gemeinsame Woche Urlaub nicht auf der Strecke bleiben und wir konnten zusammen auch ein bisschen was unternehmen.

The Plaster is off and we were lucky that everything went quite well and Sean's leg is also healing well without the plaster now. This way we could spent our one holiday week in a nice way and went on a few day trips .

Noah wird ein richtiger kleiner Junge und ist voll mit dabei, wenn Flyn spielt.
Noah is already becoming a real little boy and is fully involve din Flyn's play.


Im Garten gibt es zum Teil schon Gestreite, wer mit welchen Auto spielen darf.

In the garden we have sometimes already trouble, because sometimes Flyn does not want to share his cars.





Sommerzeit ist doch das schönste.
Summertime is just the best.


Es geht nichts über Himbeeren aus dem Garten. In allen Formationen werden die gerade in unserem Haushalt genutzt.

Noah wird schlemischer und kann mittler Weile nun auch krabbeln und zieht sich kräftig an allem hoch.
Noah is getting more and more cheeky and in the meantime is able to crawl and he pulls himself up on all sorts of things.

Ein Besuch im Zoo war aufregend, besonders die Elefanten hatten es dem Flyn angetan.
A trip to the zoo was exciting and especially the elephants were interesting for Flyn.

Beim Spass und Spiel darf Noah natürlich nicht fehlen und Flyn ist stolz Noah alles zu erklären und teilt mit Ihm.
Noah must not miss any fun of course and Flyn is proudly explaining to him how to do what and is a good sharer (only with Noah).

Eine andere Tagestour brachte uns zur Küste von Kent nach Whitstable, eine hübsche Stadt am Meer.
Another day trip was to the beach, we enjoyed the beautiful Kentish town of Whitstable.







Unser 'wild life' at home macht sich an die Bohnen ran.

Urlaubszeit bedeutete auch mal wieder Tapezierzeit und wir haben uns an unsere Dekowand im Wohnzimmer zu schaffen gemacht. Leider nicht wirklich ersichtlich hier, wie es im ganzen Raum so wirkt, aber wir sind zufrieden. Da wir uns Wand für Wand vortasten, ist das Wohnzimmer noch nicht wirklich was zum herzeigen. Aber mit 2 Kinder geht halt alles etwas langsamer.

Holiday time meant also decorating time and we have completed our Deco wall in the living room. Not really to see here how it works with the whole room, but we are happy. We are working wall by wall and therefore the living room is nothing to shout about right now anyway. With two small children everything just goes a lot slower.
