Der August begann, wie fast in jedem Jahr mit einer Menge Regen. Regenjacken und Gummistiefel waren fast täglich ein Muss.
The August started rainy and stayed like this. Loads of rainproof clothing and wellis were in use on a daily basis


Zusammen baden ist immer recht anstrengend für Mami, denn wir spritzen doch zu gerne!!!
Taking a bath together is hard work for Mami, because we like to splash!!!


Flyn ist schon ein richtig grosser Junge und spielt sehr schön allein, manchmal funkt Noah dazwischen und der ist halt für manches doch noch etwas zu klein.
Flyn is already quite a big boy and plays nicely by himself, sometimes Noah is coming along and destroys his builds etc. and Flyn gets a bit upset, because he is just a bit too small for some things.

Da wir Mitglied im Zoo sind, ist es uns möglich, die Tiere so oft wie möglich live zu erleben. Das haben wir natürlich dann auch gleich noch mal ausgenutzt, denn das Wetter war gerade mal angenehm.
Because we are members at the zoo, we have the possibility to see the animals whenever we like. The weather was descent on this day and we made the most of it once again.

...auch zu den Hippos haben wir es diesmal geschafft.

...und auch Noah hatte seinen Spass und klatschte kräftig als die robben ihre show vorführten.

Dann kam die Oma (hier beim Gute-Nacht-Geshcicht lesen) und nahm den Flyn mit an die Ostsee in Deutschland.
Then Oma came (here reading bedtime stories) and she took Flyn to Germany for a holiday on the Baltic sea.

Papa's Geburtstag verbrachten wir zu dritt in Amersham...

und danach waren wir gemütlich spazieren ...

Flyn's Urlaub in Germany/ Flyn's holiday in Germany

Flyn kam zurück voller Aufregung und fröhlich, dass er im 'U-laub' gemacht hat, aber auch dass er wieder bei Mami, Papi und Noah ist. Endlich spricht er auch mehr und nun vor allem natürlich erst mal Deutsch. Was mich sehr erfreut. Und lustig ist es natürlich dem kleinen Wicht zu zuhören, was er so von sich gibt und alles versucht nach zu sprechen. Nun heisst es auch wachsam sein, was man selbst so daher sagt.

Flyn came back full of excitment and happy that he had been on a holiday, but also that he is back with Mami, Papi and Noah. finally he speaks more, to my delight especially German right now.It is funny to listen to the small man, the things he come up with and what he tries to copy. Now we have to extra careful what we say ourself.



Unter anderem gab's natürlich eine Menge Boote, viel Sand und Meer zu sehen, was Ihn auch heute immer noch begeistert.
He has of course seen lots of different boats, sand and the sea and is still today excited about it and talks about the holiday.
