Seit geraumer Zeit möchte Flyn Windeln nur ungern tragen, denn er ist ja nun schon ein grosser Junge. Während der Mittagsruhe kam es des öfteren vor, dass die Windel abgemacht wurde und ich zum Teil mit einem nassen Bett, und es sei gesagt, auch schon mit härteren Dingen überrascht wurde.
Jedenfalls hatte wir anfänglich vor ein paar Monaten so unsere Startschwierigkeiten und trotz dass man endlich in Unterhosen herumlaufen durfte und es viel bequemer war, machte man es sich unbequem, indem man einfach drauflos pieselte. Kleine Anmerkung auf den Po fallen tat ohne Windeln doch etwas mehr weh und so musste man nun auch noch mehr aufpassen, über was man stolperte!!!
Der April war natürlich ideal. Es wurde warm, waermer und schon mal recht bullig zum Teil und so genoss es unser Flyn im Garten in seiner Unterhose herum zulaufen, was die Dinge etwas erleichtere und mir ein paar Hosen vom ständigen waschen sparte. Die Waschmachine ratterete Tag und Nacht und zur allgemeinen Erleichterung schien die Sonne viel und die Wäsche trocknete tagtäglich draussen vor sich hin.
Wenn's mal nicht so schnell ging, dann ging's Richtung Mauer. Was auf einmal grosses Interesse weckte. Man versuchte sich im 'zielen'!!! Wie die Jungen nun mal so sind. Papa schaltete sich ein, um die Position des Knaben zu korrigieren und voila das Kind war happy sich bekannt zugeben, wenn er mal musste. Mittler Weile kann er warten und wir haben selten Unfälle.
Dies ist natürlich nur die eine Seite, denn die grösseren Sachen sind zum Teil noch immer recht unangenehm und es bedarf noch ein wenig Geduld.
Since a while Flyn doesn't like to wear a nappy anymore, because he is already a big boy. During nap time it occurred quiet often that the nappy was taken off and I was surprised occasionally with a wet bed and sometimes some tougher things! Initially, a couple of months ago we had some difficulties and despite being able to finally run around in underpants and was more comfortable, one made it more uncomfortably by just wetting them whenever. However falling on the bum hurt a lot more without a nappy and so Flyn now also had to learn to pay more attention!!!
April was ideal. It was warm and got warmer and sometimes even quite hot and so Flyn enjoyed to run around in undis in the garden, which made things easy and saved a few trousers from the constant washing. The washing machine worked days and night and much to my relief the washing dried outside in the sun every day.
If Flyn was under timely pressure we went toward the garden wall. Curiosity grew. 'Aiming' became the new interest!!! Boys will be boys! Papa appeared to correct the position of the lad and voila the child was happy to tell us when he needed a 'wee wee'. In the meantime he is able to wait and we have rarely accidents. This is of course only the one side, for the larger things we are not quite there and it can be rather unpleasant and will need a bit more patience.
Wo war es doch gleich? Ja, auch die Inspizierung des vollbrachten Werkes gehört dazu ...
Now, where was it again...? Yes, the check up on the 'Masterpiece" is part of it all...
Auch wenn das Foto nicht gerade berauschend ist, so zeigt es doch, dass der Flyn noch dazu das anziehen und ausziehen schon recht gut in den Griff bekommt.
Even though the photo is not great, it still shows that Flyn manages well with dressing and undressing himself on top of the potty training.
Nach diesem ganzen 'Miefgerede' wollen wir doch nun mal von den angenehmeren Düften und Dingen reden, wie z. B. unsere Blütenpracht und Grünereien im Garten.
Unser Aprikosenbäumchen stand zum ersten Mal in voller Blüte, wenn auch nur kurz, so haben wir diese Anblick sichtlich genossen.
After all the 'stinky' talk we shall move on to the nicer smells and things in our life, e.g. the blossoms and greenery in our garden.
Our apricot tree had blossoms for the first time, which we thoroughly enjoyed, because it was a very short period only.

Ausgeschlafene Kinder sind was feines, vor allem nach dem Mittagschlaf, denn die letzten Stunden des Tages könne sich ganz schön hinziehen mit ningelnden Kindern.
Children who slept well are great, especially after the lunch time nap, because the last few hours of the day can drag a lot with wingy children.
