Our new child safe back door

we managed to built a fence and put a new door at the end of the garden. Its looking good...

After all it rained........

...but it was not just rain. It bucketed down. And the lightening was so close you could feel the air burning. The rain water bucket was full in an instant and the flowers are happy again. It saves me to carry the watering can around....The streets were swimming and of course Sean chose the best time to come home. He look like a drowned rat as you can see...

Finally a night out...

...after more work, we went to have BBQ at Lizelle and Louis house. Out of the dirty clothes and off we went.....

Our Front Garden

... we only have to refine a few areas, but other wise this bit is ready and Mocca is living there most of the time for now....

Day 8,

latest update. we added some more paving and the garden gets a dash of green...Whilst the man is working hard, the woman enjoys the last rays of sunshine before the sun sets.... or before she goes in to feed the man........

... and Mocca gets a bit of fun with a little run. Its is not the greatest idea to put a lead on a rabbit, but it was a once in a life time trip for both of us.

Day 7, We are progressing! The garden is leveled and finally the real work can begin...

18 July 2006

... for all who have not seen it how it was before we hacked it to pieces. Its does look nice in that picture and hopefully it will look a lot better when we finished it. we are getting there now I think.

and more Mocca....

14 July 2006

...for all the people who have not seen our 'NEWCOMER'. This is Mocca. In the beginnning she was shy and curious and she ate everything we gave her.

But after settling in she has become a very stroppy little Madam. I wonder where she got that from????? She is very fussy about what she likes and if she had her way it would be Parsley and dandelions only all day long.
But she is a wonderful little thing and makes us laugh a lot...

... and then "Sean- the builder" rented a digger and killed the last bit of the garden. Our little bit of poorly grown grass ended up upside down. In the end there was not much left of our graden. In fact only 3 shooting sunflowers are still where we planted them 2 months ago. But I am not sure if they will survive the attack.

And thast how it look now.....

Sean is trying to level the gardenas good as it gets and then we will hopefully start to lay a Patio soon.
Until then. Hasta luego
